Unfortunately, there have been several illegitimate ads and a scam website impersonating our brand. These ads are across several social media platforms and are replicating our aesthetic and content to promote a 'SALE' that doesn’t exist.
We are working hard to get them pulled down but in the meantime, please be aware. We always recommend shopping directly through our official website which is www.sageandclare.com or our trusted stockists to ensure authenticity and your security.

How can I tell if a website is a scam?
How can I tell if a website is a scam?
Great question! We have lots of amazing stockists, so you can shop online with retailers who are not Sage x Clare that are reputable businesses. We have popped some tips below to help spot an illegitimate site, because if we are honest - some of these are getting tricky to spot.
- A good rule of thumb is if it is too good to be true, it probably is. Scam websites will often have sales of up to 90% off to lure customers in. The current scam for Sage x Clare is offering Bath Mats $10 and Rugs for only $12.
- Scam websites often use text that doesn't feel quite on brand and there can be obvious spelling or grammatical errors. The websites can often be a nearly exact copy, this is a BIG red flag too. If the URL is not www.sageandclare.com but the website looks like ours, do not purchase.
- These websites often use sponsored ads on social media to target customers. If you are clicking an ad through social media eg. Instagram always check the account that is linked to the ad. Look for odd characters (e.g. @store_name.official1 or @store__n4me), generic bios or too-good-to-be-true offers (e.g. “50% off sitewide today only!”)
- Trust your gut - if something feels off or if the website is pressuring you to buy eg. 'SALE ENDS IN 10 MINUTES!'
Leave the website immediately, contact the brand through a trusted source eg. their direct instagram or website and if you entered any personal details make sure to contact your bank and update your passwords.

These ads are across several social media platforms and often replicate our aesthetic and content.
This site is not affiliated with Sage x Clare, and the pricing shown is a strong sign it is likely a scam. We always recommend shopping directly through our official website or trusted stockists to ensure authenticity and your security.
