I have been using this lotion for three weeks, mainly on my upper arms, underarms, shoulders, buttocks (where thighs meet), and abdomen. Each area has its own skin problem - acne scars, dryness, discolouration, keratosis pilaris, etc.
So far my skin tone appearance has improved, like acne scars and dark spots appearing lighter (even darkened underarms seem to have gotten better). But the biggest difference it made was on my upper arms, where I have had keratosis pilaris for years. I have always been conscious about showing my arms above the elbows, because of the noticeable red bumps of ingrown hair and rough texture. My arms are not entirely smooth nor free of the appearance of red spots yet, but they are merely remnants and will disappear eventually. I believe the condition itself is under control now, so it won't long before I can freely show my arms. Thank you!!
For those who have the same issue as I do on the buttock/thigh area, they'll know what I mean by "goosebumps". While they look dissimilar to the ones I had on my arms, apparently they are keratosis pilaris as well. I got this lotion in hopes of getting rid of these, actually. I haven't seen a drastic improvement, but it has only been three weeks. My buttocks and thighs do feel less like sandpaper, so hopefully over time, consistent moisturization will smooth out (or lessen) the bumps. ~ NS
