Shhhh! I’m going to let you in on a little secret… I know these photos look like something out of a movie but this wonderland well and truly exists!
Designed by Dutch designer and Tocca founder Marie-Anne Oudejans, Bar Palladio Jaipur is located within a daringly restored garden belvedere in the historic Narain Niwas Palace Hotel. Defined by intricate wooden screens, ornate brass lighting, floral motifs, gorgeous electric blue walls, wandering peacocks, the scent of mango trees and a garden of tented canopies. The philosophy – to create a fantasy that allows you to depart reality and slip into your own imagination…
One of my favourite spots to visit when I’m in town and can spare a day off work (because collections don’t magic themselves!), Bar Palladio feels like a mirage compared to the heaving, hot and dusty streets of Jaipur. The first time I stumbled across this exquisitely decorated space, I could hardly believe my eyes!
The perfect cure to a travel weary body and a tired mind, a dip in Narain Niwas‘ pool, a peruse of the nearby boutique shops, and an afternoon lounging around Bar Palladio, usually has me feeling like my old self again. Not to mention, re-inspired and re-engaged to bring you the most gorgeous collection of homewares a gal can dream up. It’s a win win!
Do yourself a favour and don’t miss this spot on your next trip to the Pink City of dreams. Who knows where your imagination could take you… xx
