I’m not sure why I find handbags so hard, but I do… I only ever seem to like the pricey Celine ‘Leather Shopper’ or the Alexander Wang ‘Prisma’, which, let’s be honest, is not in mine or most people’s realm. Enter emerging designer Danielle Foster, whose entirely handmade bags sit somewhere in the middle. Inspired by the darkness of 40’s erotic bondage and torture, and her equestrian upbringing, they feature metallic bronze leather, brushed pony hair, woven luxe leather and Foster’s signature marble print alongside traditional equestrian hardware elements such as buckles, layers of looped metal and stud detailing.
