It’s ok to change your mind. These things happen. We offer refunds (excluding any shipping costs) and gift cards on most items if you decide your latest purchase is just not for you. Below is a list of what we look for in approving a Change of Mind return.
DOMESTIC (AUSTRALIA) ONLY:
- Returns are accepted within 15 days of the shipping date from our warehouse. Once you submit your return online, please ensure you post your parcel within 14 days or your return request will expire.
- We offer FREE returns for Store Credit on most items as well as an additional credit for your next purchase. If returning large items like rugs, floor cushions and wall hangings, return shipping charges may apply. Customers wanting to return a rug, floor cushion or wall hanging should email us at gday@sageandclare.com for a return shipping quote.
- For Refunds, the cost of Return Shipping for most items is $9. To save you the hassle of buying stamps at the Post Office, we simply deducted this charge from the Refund amount. For larger items like rugs, floor cushions and wall hangings, additional return shipping charges may apply. Please contact us at gday@sageandclare.com for a return shipping quote.
- As always for Change of Mind returns, items must be unwashed, unused and in original packaging with tags intact
- Please allow 3-5 business days for your return to be processed once it arrives back to our warehouse
- Refunds will be processed within 3-5 days back to the original method of purchase (credit card, PayPal, etc) but may take a few extra days to be received into your account. Don't forget! Your refund will be less $9 to cover the cost of Return Shipping.
- Please note, if your Return arrives in a condition that does not meet our Returns Policy, we will be required to reject your Return. Our Customer Care Team will be in touch if this is the case.
INTERNATIONAL:
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of the shipping date from our warehouse. Once you submit your return online, please ensure you post your parcel within 14 days or your return request will expire.
- Please choose carefully as you will need to cover the cost of Return Shipping regardless of whether you are seeking a Refund or Store Credit. All Returns should be addressed to our HQ on Wurundjeri land at:

- Please allow 3-5 business days for your Return to be processed once it arrives back to our warehouse.

PRODUCT FAULTS
We take care to ensure that all items leave our warehouse in great condition, but if you have unfortunately received a faulty or defective item, here's everything you need to know:
- You can initiate your Return at here and follow the prompt to return your faulty item. Please note, you may be required to upload images of the fault for us to review prior to approving your return.
- Where we deem the item to be faulty or defective, we will offer either a repair, exchange or refund.
- Where a product is deemed faulty, we will cover the cost of Return Shipping to our warehouse.
- When assessing faulty items, we will always act in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
- Please allow 3-5 days for your faulty item to be processed once it arrives back to our warehouse
- Refunds will be processed within 3-5 days back to the original method of purchase (credit card, Paypal, etc) but may take a few extra days to be received into your account.
PERFECTLY IMPERFECT HANDMADE FEATURES
As you may know, we heart handmade here at Sage x Clare. Many of the items we sell feature handmade elements crafted by our wonderful artisans and as such, variations and small inconsistencies do exist. This is a natural result of handmade techniques and not considered a product fault. We do our best to call out the handmade nature of our products as much as possible across all our marketing material and product descriptions to help with your shopping experience.
COLOUR VARIANCES
We take great care to ensure that digital representation of colours match the actual colour of our products however we recognise that screen resolution and settings can impact what you see before you buy. We therefore treat returns relating to colour variance in accordance with our ‘Change of Mind’ policy. You can review our 'Change of Mind' policy here.

The below items are NOT eligible for a return, exchange or refunds:
- Gift cards
- Any marked down item purchased from the ‘Sale’ page or as part of any other sale event including flash sales like Black Friday or Boxing Day and warehouse sales
- Any item purchased from a Sage and Clare independent stockist, please contact the store directly if you wish to return
- Any item that has been used, slept in, worn or not in original condition with tags intact
- Any items damaged due to unreasonable wear and tear
- Twiggagerie range which is custom made to order

Got a PO Box or Parcel Locker? Perfect! We deliver most items to a PO Box. Please note that some larger items like floor rugs or wall hangings may not ship to a PO Box, so we recommend choosing a home or work address where someone will be available to sign for the delivery when purchasing larger items.Our Customer Care Team will reach out to you for an alternative shipping address if required.
Not all of our Express Shipping options can deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers, so our team may reach out for an alternative address, or we may send your parcel via a standard service and refund the express shipping charge amount paid.

Orders that are shipped within Australia will be shipped with Australia Post or StarTrack. We will provide you with a tracking number once your order has left our warehouse.
Australia Post will be able to provide the most up-to-date info on your parcel's whereabouts. If there is a delay with your delivery, we recommend you first contact the carrier with your tracking number directly.

All of our products are carefully packaged to prevent breakage in transit, but if you find that your parcel is damaged during shipping, please let us know but lodging your return here.
We ask you please lodge photographs of the inside and outside of the box so the damage can be assessed. Please also ensure that you keep all contents and packaging while our team assess your case.
We ask you get in touch with our team or lodge your request regarding any issues within three days of receiving your parcel.

Due to the way that we ship some of our gorgeous items, not all of our larger goodies are able to be shipped internationally eg. our Beni Rugs. If there is a larger Sage x Clare piece that you are after, please reach out to our Customer Care Team at gday@sageandclare.com with the item you have your eye on (including size if you have it) and your best shipping address. From there, if the item is able to be shipped internationally, our team can arrange an obligation-free courier quote for you.
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be.

By default, all prices are listed in Australian Dollars and include 10% Goods and Services Tax. Sage x Clare reserves the right to change prices at any time. In the event of a pricing error on the website, our Customer Care Team will contact you to notify of the discrepancy and provide correct pricing.
If you are located outside of Australia, you can toggle your to your local currency in the top right corner of the website (or at the very bottom of the website if you're shopping on a mobile device). This will mean that you are able to shop and checkout in your chosen currency.
Any pricing displayed on Google's organic listings are automatically generated by Google and can sometimes include incorrect and outdated information. This information can arise from Google pulling from a third party website or could reference an old sale that has since been removed from the Sage x Clare website.
