We ship all items Australia-wide!

We also ship small items internationally, including cushions, throws, bedlinen, bath towels, and small decorative items. We are currently unable to ship very fragile items os however. If you are unsure about a particular item, don't hesitate to contact us at gday@sageandclare.com

How is my order shipped?

We use a number of different couriers, including Australia Post, Star Track and Fastway. This depends on your location and which items you have ordered.

When will you ship my order?

Orders are processed as quickly as possible, generally within 2 - 3 business days of order placement but can be a little longer during busy times such as online sales and new collection arrivals.

For Australian customers, it will typically take approximately 2 - 5 business days to receive your order. However, orders to west coast and rural destinations can take up to 10 days. We will provide you with a tracking number once your order has been dispatched. We recommend shipping to a a location where someone will be present to sign for your order, such as a work address. If this is not possible please leave instructions during checkout giving authority to leave without a signature. This will be at your own risk.

For international customers, it will typically take 10 business days to receive your order. Where possible, we will provide you with a tracking number once your order has been dispatched. 

Do you deliver to a PO box?

Yes, we can deliver to a PO Box. As we require a signature as proof of delivery, a calling card will be left for larger parcels. 

How will I know when my order has been shipped?

We'll be keeping you in the loop throughout the ordering and shipping process. An email will be sent to you as soon as your order has been dispatched.

Shipping delays or damages

What if my order is delayed or damaged during shipping?

Unfortunately accidents do happen. If there is a delay with your order due to inclement weather, we will do our best to notify you. Your tracking number also includes information on how to contact the shipping carrier.

All of our products are carefully packaged to prevent breakage in transit. If your order is damaged during shipping, please photograph the inside and outside of the box and keep all contents and packaging for insurance claim purposes. Please contact us within 3 days of the arrival of your package for instructions.  

Sage and Clare is in no way responsible for any delays in shipping, damages in transit, packages not received, arrival of your order at the wrong location due to incorrect delivery address or international customs issues.

What is your return policy?

If for some reason you are not completely happy with your purchase, you may return the merchandise for a full refund less shipping costs. You must notify us within three days of receipt of goods and return goods to us within 10 days to be eligible. Items must be unwashed, unused and in original packaging with tags intact.
Please notify us by email at gday@sageandclare.com stating item details and whether you would like a refund, exchange or credit note. Please allow 3-5 business days for your return to be processed.

Can I return/exchange a sale item?

For items purchased on sale - no exchange or refund is offered. Of course, if your item is faulty, please see below.

What happens if my item is faulty?

If you believe your item is faulty, you must contact us as soon as possible describing the fault. We will endeavour to offer a repair, exchange or refund if we deem the item to be faulty. This is governed by Australian consumer law. If we require the goods be returned for inspection, this must be done within 10 days of contacting us.

Please note, that many of the items on this website are vintage, antique, and/or handmade. We have stated this clearly in our product descriptions and as such, signs of wear, small marks, and inconsistencies are not considered faults on these items. If you like things shiny, manufactured by machinery, and completely perfect then this may not be the best place for you.
