A new shape for the Soda + Stitch cushion family, the Flower Button Cushion is perfect for little girls of the house!

The Flower Button Cushion is made from a textured Cotton Linen that has been hand printed with a ditsy floral pattern and dyed with a paradise orange reverse. This little cushion is then finished with sweet sky blue buttons and soft grey cord piping.

The floral pattern is our new collections take on a vintage inspired daisy print and was created from a hand painting that has been developed for the art of block printing. Sky blue, grass green, saffron yellow, peach nectar and orange flower motifs dance across the natural base giving this petal shaped cushion a nostalgic feel of hazy childhoods.

The printing technique used is called Block Printing and has been practiced in the bustling Pink City of Jaipur for centuries. The Soda + Stitch floral design is traced on to blocks of soft teak wood which is then carved and chipped by hand, with each colour being a separate block. Each colour is mixed by the careful eyes of masters to create just the right hue and then each metre is slowly printed layer by layer -  a process of dipping blocks into the dye and then precisely stamping them across the fabric.

Made from Cotton Linen blend with polyfil inner.

Dimensions are approximately 38 x 38 cm round.

Care instructions are gentle machine wash, with like colours and mild detergent, and dry flat.
