But if you’d prefer to have a quick read about how we do things around here, here’s our Returns Policy:

Change of Mind

It’s ok to change your mind. These things happen. We offer refunds and exchanges (excluding any shipping costs) if you decide your latest purchase is just not for you as long as:

Change of Mind return conditions:
  1. You notify us within 10 days of receiving your items and return it to us within 14 days of receiving
  2. Items must be unwashed, unused and in original packaging with tags intact
  3. Please notify us by email at gday@sageandclare.com stating order details and whether you would like a refund, exchange or credit note
  4. You must cover the cost of return postage to Sage and Clare Returns, 5A/841 Mountain Highway, Bayswater, 3153, VIC, Australia
  5. Please email our team to provide the tracking details relating of the return postage
  6. Please allow 3-5 business days for your return to be processed once it arrives back to our warehouse
  7. Refunds will be processed within 3-5 days but may take a few extra days to be received into your bank account
Return Exclusions

The below items are not eligible for a return, exchange or refunds:

  1. Gift cards
  2. Any marked down item purchased from the ‘Final Sale’ page or as part of any other sale event including flash sales like Black Friday or Boxing Day and warehouse sales
  3. Any item purchased from a Sage and Clare independent stockist. Please contact the store directly
  4. Any item that has been used, slept in or not in original condition with tags intact
  5. Any items damaged due to unreasonable wear and tear
  6. Twiggagerie range which is custom made to order
International Returns 

If your item satisfies our returns policy requirements above, please contact gday@sageandclare.com to work through the available options. We will be lenient and considerate of the additional time to post the item back for international customers.

Colour Variances

We take great care to ensure that digital representation of colours match the actual colour of the product however we recognise that screen resolution and settings can impact what you see. We therefore treat returns relating to colour variance in accordance with our ‘change of mind’ policy. 

Faulty Items

We take care to ensure that all items leave our warehouse in great condition, but if you have unfortunately received a faulty or defective item, please note our policy and procedure below:

  1. Please contact gday@sageandclare.com outlining the fault with images
  2. Where we deem the item to be faulty or defective, we will offer either a repair, exchange or refund
  3. If we require the goods be returned for inspection, this must be done within 10 days of contacting us
  4. Where a product is deemed faulty, we will fund the cost to send the item back to our warehouse
  5. We always act in accordance with Australian Consumer law when assessing faulty items
  6. Return address is Sage and Clare Returns, 5A/841 Mountain Highway, Bayswater, 3153, VIC, Australia.
  7. Please allow 3-5 days for your faulty item to be processed once it arrives back to our warehouse
  8. Refunds will be processed within 3-5 days but may take a few extra days to be received into your bank account

As you may know, we heart handmade here at Sage x Clare. Many of the items we sell feature handmade elements crafted by our wonderful artisans and as such, variations and small inconsistencies do exist. These variations add to the soulfulness of our designs and are not considered faults but rather testaments to the handmade nature of the product which we explain in all our marketing and product descriptions.
