JOB SUMMARY

The role of the eCommerce Specialist position is primarily to support Sage x Clare’s marketing, PR and communications by ensuring the best online experience for our retail and wholesale online customers and driving the sales, profit and analytics of our online channel. 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive strategic direction of the eCommerce retail & wholesale platforms under the direction of the Marketing Manager
  • Managing online inventory and content including product copy and imagery, collection set up and maintenance
  • Develop & manage all online promotions
  • Execute placement of all web assets
  • Ensure website design enhances shopping experience and conversion rates
  • Regularly audit website functionality and correct any broken links or inaccurate data
  • Analyse & report on online sales data across retail & wholesale channels
  • Be the technical lead internally and with external development agencies
  • Analysis of customer engagement and insights to improve customer experience
  • Collaborate with the Content Creator & Marketing Manager on plans to achieve online sales targets
  • Develop & manage website performance reporting to drive decision making
  • Drive optimisation of the customer journey across the retail & wholesale website including conversion improvements and managing third party apps
  • Implement & manage website accessibility considerations through UX design to ensure it is shoppable for all customers
  • Manage Sage x Clare loyalty program
  • Manage and maintain relationships with marketplace and affiliate partners and coordinate any relevant technical set ups and upcoming promotional plans

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing/Business or relevant field preferred
  • 4+ years experience in eCommerce or Digital Marketing
  • Basic skills in Google Analytics and understanding of SEO and SEM
  • Technical experience / knowledge highly desired, preferably in web design and analysis
  • Understanding of websites and product merchandising on eCommerce stores (Shopify preferred)
  • Understanding and use of email database programs (Klaviyo preferred)
  • Competency and comfort utilising spreadsheets to analyse data (Excel/Numbers)

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ALL SAGE X CLARE TEAM MEMBERS:

  • Engage and participate fully in training initiatives, including but not limited to inclusion + diversity workshops and personal + professional development
  • Participate in bi-annual stock takes on all products in the warehouse
  • Assist with warehouse sales, including working weekends where required, bump in and bump out
  • Assist team with maintaining general tidiness of warehouse and office areas
  • Assist with unloading, counting and stocking items in warehouse
  • During high volume times, as directed by management (online sales, collection release, pre-order arrivals, etc), assist with packing orders in the warehouse.
    • Pick items according to the Order form
    • Inspect items to ensure they’re not damaged or faulty and adjust inventory accordingly
    • Pack item according to specified packing guidelines
    • Ship and fulfil customer orders in Inventory system, inputting appropriate tracking numbers and links
  • Assist with seasonal events including trade show bump in and bump out, as needed
  • Work trade shows where required including weekends and interstate, as needed
  • Engage on Sage x Clare social media posts with comments and likes
  • Assist with photoshoot production, coordination and style assist duties where required
