JOB TITLE: CONTENT CREATOR

JOB TYPE: FULL TIME

REPORTS TO: MARKETING MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY:

The role of the Content Creator is primarily focused on planning creating & sourcing on brand imagery & video across all marketing, PR and business communication channels and assets. Responsible for optimising communications based on our target audience’s behaviours and the brand strategy.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and manage multiple campaigns and/or projects at one time and ensure editing quality control, tight deadlines and targets are met
  • Maintain proficiency in using social media platforms and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in social media usage
  • Attend & assist on brand photoshoots to create relevant content & imagery for use across communication channels
  • Visual Content Creation & Curation
    • Source, create and produce high quality imagery that represents the brand aesthetic
    • Edit imagery with brand aligned filters
    • Curate all social media feeds aligned with business calendar and brand aesthetic
  • Plan, create & post all social media for retail & wholesale accounts (including evening & weekend)
    • Select and/or create appropriate high quality content based on marketing objectives, for:
      • Retail & Wholesale social media
      • Retail & Wholesale EDMs
      • Meta, Pinterest and Google Ads
      • Additional marketing & PR initiatives, i.e. competitions, collaborations, etc as required
      • Any additional ad hoc imagery & video needs of the business
    • Influencer Seeding
      • Develop and maintain Sage x Clare brand & content guidelines for influencers
      • Cultivate a growing community of Content Creators who produce and amplify high quality content we are proud to reshare on our own channels
      • Develop a monthly seeding strategy in line with seeding budgets that supports new releases, slow moving product in need of social proof and high performing product that will be effective at driving traffic to site.
      • Raise Influencer orders and ensure orders are dispatched in good time so that Influencer content is available when required to support our Marketing calendar
      • Develop and maintain an image library of Influencer content for use in Marketing initiatives
    • Content Strategy
      • Monthly reporting on Social Media performance across all channels against pre-determined KPI’s
      • Formulating strategic recommendations to improve account base growth and engagement each month
    • Team Engagement
      • Engage and participate fully in training initiatives, including but not limited to inclusion + diversity workshops, personal and professional development

      • General duties & responsibilities of all team members, in our culture of supporting and assisting others when needed include but are not limited to:
        • During high volume times, as directed by management (online sales, collection release, pre-order arrivals, etc), assist in the warehouse
        • Assist with warehouse sales, including working weekends where required, bump in and bump out
        • Assist team with maintaining general tidiness of warehouse and office areas
        • Assist with seasonal events including trade show bump in and bump out, as needed
        • Work trade shows where required including weekends and interstate, as needed
      • Other duties as assigned by Management

ABOUT YOU:

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising or Communications preferred; or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of creative industry experience in content creation required
  • Experience in social media and its various platforms essential, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest
  • Adobe & Canva and experience designing social graphics highly favoured
  • Experience with Mac, Klaviyo & Shopify preferred
  • Previous exposure to working across product and online campaigns
  • Sophisticated written and verbal communication skills and editing skills in English required
  • A strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape
